Barcelona continues to miss goals and adjust their schedule for a return to Camp Nou. The Blaugrana was planning to welcome 60,000 fans for the Joan Gamper trophy on Sunday, but unable to complete the documentation on time for their opening permit, are forced to move the competition to the 6,000-Saturday Estadi Johan Cruyff.
It did not go well that Barcelona sells tickets for their collision with Como, traditionally a cheaper and more festive Curtain-Raiser event for fans to welcome their players, priced the game in the hundreds. The latter is that tickets are also scarce for their return to Camp Nou.
After having received an extra month to prepare Camp Nou by La Liga, making their first three games away from home, the Catalan giants will miss a deadline. Instead of 60,000 fans who come in for their return to their home country, the total will be about half in the Spotify Camp.
According to Ser Catalunya, Barcelona has agreed with the Council for the Stadium to re -open in phases with only certain parts of the land in use. Phase 1a allows only 27,000 fans in the South Doal Stand and the Grantstand, followed by 45,000 fans in phase 1B, with the lateral position being opened. Due to the final phase completed this season, 62,000 fans are allowed in all four areas of the first and second rows, but no timeline is given for phase 1B or 1C.
Barcelona's agreements with the council mean that phase 1 on 14 September will at least be their two opening house matches against Valencia against Valencia, and on the 21st a week later – less than half of the capacity of Montjuic where they played last season.
That information is added by Marca, who also emphasizes the race by time to organize their opening Champions League match in Camp Nou. If they don't do that, UEFA regulations Barcelona means all four home games in the competition phase have to play elsewhere, rob the club with more income and higher attendees. The stadium has been on schedule for ten months, whereby the club is repeatedly displayed on return dates.
