Barcelona chief Deco held Tuesday night meeting with Araujo

The Uruguayan defender has been the subject of intense interest from Juventus and Arsenal this month.

Araujo has been tempted to leave Barca this transfer window.

But Mundo Deportivo say Deco has convinced Araujo to stay this season.

A meeting took place between the two last night, during which discussions about a contract extension also made progress.
