Barcelona has to move players this summer to make their desired signing sessions, and one of those to leave will be Ansu Fati. The 22-year-old has been in the edge of the first team throughout the season of 2024-25, and apparently accepted that he will not work in Hansi Flick's plans, he has now agreed to leave.
Last week it was reported that Barcelona made the decision to organize Fati's exit this summer, and the player agreed. And things have been moved quickly, with a leading freer that has already arisen.
And that worshiper is like Monaco, who defeated Barcelona during the Champions League League phase of this season. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Ligue 1 side has almost agreed conditions with Fati, with negotiations that are also ongoing with the Catalan club.
Fati would be on loan at Monaco for the 2025-26 season, with a purchase option in the deal. And if this were to be activated, Barcelona would retain a sales clause, the value of which still has to be determined.
Barcelona had hoped to bring a good fee for Fati, and they can still do, depending on the value of the purchase option that Monaco has. But it is unlikely that important funds will be generated from this deal, although the most important thing is to get his wages from the books.
