Barcelona closing in on long-awaited return to La Liga 1:1 rule

Barcelona have been struggling financially for a number of years, and this has had a serious impact on their ability to conduct transfer business. However, there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel with a long-awaited return to La Liga's 1:1 rule.

Barcelona would relax their financial restrictions if they returned to the 1:1, and according to MD they are getting closer to reality. This is due to the upcoming deal for the sale of VIP boxes in the new Spotify Camp Nou, which would also be enough to secure the registrations for Dani Olmo and Pau Victor.

According to the report, it would be enough if Barcelona sold the remaining boxes to be in line with the 1:1. This would be huge news for the Catalans as they are desperate to make this a reality before next summer's transfer window as it would mean they could spend more money than normal.
