Barcelona confirm La Liga rejected fixture change request

Barcelona will continue their battle with La Liga for congestion until the end of the 2024/25 season.

La Blaugrana fights three fronts in the last weeks of the campaign while Hansi Flick de la Liga has followed, Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League.

That means that more games have been added quickly to the schedule, whereby Barcelona plays the majority of 2025 every three days.

The tightness of the schedule has caused friction between Flick and La Liga, where the German coach shouts unfairly about how the luminaires of Barcelona countries.

The tension has been transferred to an official complaint that Barcelona has filed in an unexpected show of unity with El Clasico -Rivalen Real Madrid about the situation.

Every hour counts between matches, where all parties try to adhere to the '72 hours of rule ', to have the players of Flick repaired and go again.

Barcelona expanded their lead at the top of the La Liga title race with an excellent 4-3 comeback victory on Celta Vigo and they will now be confronted with Mallorca three days later in League Action.

There will be a four-day gap of that collision on April 22 to the Copa del Rey final with Real Madrid on 26 April.

However, the space between competitions returns to three days, while they return to Champions League promotion at the end of the month.

They organize Inter Milan on 30 April in Semi Final Action, Host Real Valladolid on 3 May, before the return conflict on the San Siro on 6 May.

Sports director Deco has expressed his annoyance on the date -advertisement of time against Rockbodem Valladolid that is moved to the Spanish time of 9 p.m., the same as the two Inter Milan competitions.

“Sometimes they listen to us and other times that don't do that. In the Champions League we have been weak when it comes to protecting ourselves with schemes,” according to quotes from Marca.

“The manager has been talking about it for a while. We do not have the power to make decisions. We understand why the game against Valladolid was planned for Sunday and moved to Saturday; but it could have been played at 4 p.m. or 6.30 p.m.

“We would have liked to play before. We asked to play at 6.30 am, but La Liga made a different decision.”
