Ansu Fati's days as a Barcelona player appear to be numbered and it is increasingly likely that he will leave the club this month. A loan move has been touted, with Sevilla said to be most interested in signing the young forward for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
However, this interest is unlikely to materialize in a deal, with MD saying Sevilla deem it impossible for Fati to join in January. Currently, Barcelona's wage demands are not affordable for Los Nervionenses, who are also facing financial problems.
Barcelona are willing to allow Fati to join Sevilla despite the poor relationship between the two clubs. However, it appears a deal is currently feasible, and it could only materialize if the Catalans lower their demands – although this would mean it would be harder for a replacement, such as Marcus Rashford, to be signed.
