Barcelona saved herself twice against Inter in the semi-final first leg of the Champions League, in a bittersweet evening. The Blaugrana believes that they should have won the game after giving up twice from set pieces. Now they count the costs.
After just 42 minutes, the French defender Jules Kounde went on the field to feel the back of his calf. Eventually he had to get off and Eric Garcia came up to replace him and did a reasonably good job from position on right back. The injury of Kounde has been concerned, although prior to a series of crucial competitions.
He will undergo tests on Thursday, but it seems that Kounde has suffered a muscle problem and presumably a beyond a degree tear. That can be deduced from the report of Sport, who say that Kounde will miss their La Liga collision with Real Valladolid, their Champions League -Terug -Poot in Milan against Inter, and their decisive Clasico with Real Madrid the following weekend. When Kounde left the stadium, he was seen limping and told the cameras 'We will see tomorrow'.
