Barcelona has returned to work for the new season, and on the first day Hansi Flick was forced to show his hard discipline. It was a young right back Hector Fort that brought itself into trouble.
The Blaugrana was back in the training for the preseason on Sunday, with the club performing medical tests on their players. A number of their players have returned early to the training, including keepers Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Joan Garcia, Ronald Araajo and Marc Bernal.
Hector Fort was a player who did not return early. Diario as a detail that Fort, 18, arrived too late for his medical tests and was reprimanded by Flick. The German coach made timeliness one of his strictest rules, where he would bench Jules Kounde three times because he was too late for team meetings, as well as Inaki Pena. It is still to be seen whether Flick will take further action, but in any previous case it was punished with a bench.
