Barcelona defender has chances to secure first team stay if €6m buy clause is not activated

Barcelona has started planning their team for next season, and opportunities will be made during the summer transfer window. Deco, the club's sports director, looks at multiple signing sessions, although there are also opportunities for players who are already in the books but not in the first team.

A player who falls into this category is Alex Valle. Last summer the young left back was sent on loan to Celtic after Hansi Flick Alejandro Bald and Gerard Martin was considered to be in the pecking order for him. His enchantment in Scotland was not overly successful, and in January he was moved instead to Serie A Side Como, which are managed by former Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

Valle has been a normal starter for Como since his arrival and they have the option to sign it permanently. A purchase clause of € 6 million has been added to the loan agreement, which means that the 20-year-old will remain in Italy from the summer if it is activated.

Valle would, however, return to Barcelona as a Como decides to activate that purchase clause. In the case of this event, it is not guaranteed that another departure would be requested, with MD reporting that the defender has opportunities to become a permanent match in the first team team of the Catalan giants.

Martin is flattered to mislead when he was called as a replacement for Balde, so there is an opening in the left in the Barcelona team. It has also been mentioned that a signing can be made, although Flick's preference is preferred to use the players he can already invoke, one of which would be valle if he did not stay in Como.

At this stage it seems more likely that Valle will remain in Italy, although it cannot be excluded that Como decides to activate his purchase clause, despite the fact that he is a normal starter.
