Barcelona is again in August with doubts about their ability to register new signing sessions. The drama surrounding the signature of Marc-Andre Ter Stegen to activate the injury rule can deprive them from Joan Garcia for the opening weeks of La Liga, but the Blaugrana expect positive news about their salary limit struggle next week.
One of the most important transactions for Barcelona to be able to do this is their lease of € 100 million from 475 VIP chairs to Fortia Advisors and New Era Visionary Group. The deal was inaugurated at the end of December, but not active with the seats, removed Auditors Crowe the transaction in March, and so La Liga did the same from their salary limit.
The Catalan club hoped to return to Camp Nou for the Joan Gamper-Trophy on Sunday, but with the construction that is still left behind, they are forced to move their game with como to the 6000-seats Estadi Johan Cruyff on their training ground. MD says that 475 of those seats will be provided to Fortia Advisors and NEVG, because they have to prove that the deal is active to CROW to be registered.
If Crowe accepts that, this would mean a big boost for Barcelona, and say the Catalan daily that they can be back within their salary limit if that is the case. That in turn would free them from a few spending limitations and be able to use the totality of the money they bring in, provided that they stay within the limit.
It would undoubtedly be positive for Barcelona, but given the drama around the rule of Ter Stegen and the injury rule, it will certainly raise questions about how sure Barcelona is. Their contracts for the lease of the VIP chairs were originally for seats in Camp Nou, and it will become clear whether they only apply to the Spotify Camp Nou, or can be applied to Barcelona competitions on other grounds.
