Barcelona forward not considering exit to La Liga side this summer

Barcelona and Palmeiras have confirmed the sale of Vitor Roque this week, with the Brazilian attacker for € 25.5 million plus € 5 million in variables. The Blaugrana will also retain 20% of its sold -out fee. The Blaugrana also had to negotiate with Real Betis, where the 20-year-old was on loan to end their agreement.

Roque fell from the starting XI last month with the return to fitness of Cedric Bakambu and the arrival of Cucho Hernandez. Betis naturally wanted to get the most out of the deal. They save on his salary and avoid a potential fine clause of € 1.5 million if he did not reach a certain amount of minutes.

It seems that Barcelona will give up 30% of the rights of the Economic Abde, with Betis now possessing a total of 80%. The value of that percentage has also been placed at € 4.5 million. At one point it was rumor that a loan for Pau Victor had agreed in the summer, with a potential option to buy for Los Verdiblancos.

The 23-year-old was also interesting for Betis in January, when they considered a lending switch for Victor if he was not again registered by Barcelona. Sport, however, notes that Victor is entirely focused on Barcelona and would like to succeed there. He is not aware of further interest in betis and is not considering any movement there.

When Barcelona open the door to a move in the summer, betis are one of the many La Liga clubs that keep an eye on his situation, as well as clubs in Germany. However, it is specifically noted that it will also be Victor who chooses his future.

In view of that last point, it would be no surprise if the step to close speculation comes from his agent, because Victor is clearly dedicated to Barcelona. If he doesn't improve much this season in his 259 minutes to date, he can consider his future again in the summer.
