Barcelona hand trial to 16-year-old Brazil wonderkid after creative midfielder impresses at Copinha tournament

Barcelona has taken a teenager Brazilian prodigy for 10 days after being monitored at a prominent South -American tournament.

Joao Vorror, a 16-year-old from Roraima in North Brazil, was invited to La Masia this month and is currently training with the club under the age of 18.

Barca Scouts had seen the central midfielder during the famous Copinha tournament, where the performances of the Ibrachina product had led interest from all over the world.

After 15 years for 10 months, Vorror was the youngest player who scored in the competition of this season for youth sides in Brazil.

Vitor had spent four years with Palmeiras before switching to Ibrachina. Palmeiras, Flamengo, Santos and Vasco de Gama belong to those who are interested in signing him after the Copinha.

Barca, however, has stolen a march and wants to look further into how Vitor – in Catalonia with its representatives of Websoccer – stands up to their current crop.
