Barcelona are hoping to return to La Liga's 1:1 rule before next summer's transfer window opens, and if they succeed it could mean a big deal could be made. If so, Rafael Leao will undoubtedly be one of the players strongly considered by the club's sporting department.
Leao has been on Barcelona's radar for some time and president Joan Laporta in particular is keen to get him away from Milan. According to MD, the idea of another summer move is gaining momentum at Can Barca, especially as club officials believe the 25-year-old would improve even further under the guidance of Hansi Flick.
According to the report, a deal could be worth around €80 million, while also noting that Leao would be desperate to join Barcelona if they were to sign him next summer. It will be very interesting to see how this interest grows in the run-up to the opening of the transfer market in early July.
