Barcelona enjoyed a comfortable start of their La Liga campaign, in which Star Joan Garcia had signed in goal, and a cameo performance by Forward Marcus Rashford. Both were registered just in time before the game, where the green light came through on the morning of their collision against RCD Mallorca. However, director of Football Deco still has to do work.
These registrations arose as a result of the fact that Barcelona had organized a new contract with Jules Kounde and sold out their percentage of Francisca Trincao's rights to the cheap of Sporting CP. The Blaugrana was able to get the registrations across the line, in addition to a € 7 million warranty from the Barcelona board.

Prior to their second collision this weekend with Levante, Barcelona has three more players to register. Hansi Flick gives a priority to Gerard Martin available, but experienced goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and younger Roony Bardghji still have to be registered. Hector Fort must also be registered as a senior player, but he is expected to leave before the end of the transfer window.
According to Cadena Ser, Barcelona has to do three things to make the registrations happen. The primary items on the agenda are the outputs of Inaki Pena and Oriol Romeu. The first is expected to move on loan from Como in Italy, whereby Barcelona wants to extend its deal with a further year. In the meantime, a contract termination is more likely with Romeu, who is left for another year at his deal.
The third item is a contract renewal with Frenkie de Jong, who would like to extend his deal, but there is no certainty about when he can sign a new contract. This could leave Barcelona in something of a binding.
