Barcelona may only have two options to re -plan their La Liga collision with Osasuna.
La Blaugrana made a late announcement to postpone their collision with Osasuna on 8 March in the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Company.
The decision came after a tragic update from the club through confirmation from the SAD News First Team Club Doctor Carles Minarro Garcia suddenly died without further details at this stage.
Further information is expected in the coming hours, but it is believed that it was made a request from the team, as a sign of respect and gratitude to Minarro Garcia.
The decision was accepted by the La Liga Match Delegate and Osasuna as part of a fast -moving and emotional copy for all involved.
Barcelona is not expected to change their UEFA Champions League Home Tie with Benfica on 11 March with a 1-0 lead in the second stage.
However, the club will now have to talk to La Liga and Osasuna to secure a new date in a tight end of the seasonal schedule.
According to reports from Diario AS, there are only two luminaire windows available, where Barcelona reaches the Copa del Rey and Champions League Finals.
If that is the case, Wednesday, May 21, the only available date could be, due to the incoming international break that blocks the rest of March.
As an alternative, if Barcelona is beaten from the Champions League in the last 16 phase and the Copa del Rey -Final could not be reached, could not open April 26.
That would fall on the day of the final of the Copa del Rey and allow sufficient time between the possible Champions League quarter and the semi -final.
La Liga, however, should be convinced to allow a league match to collide with the final, especially if it has a Madrid derby.
