Barcelona one step away from securing Dani Olmo and Pau Victor registration

In recent weeks, Barcelona have been working desperately to ensure Dani Olmo and Pau Victor are both signed for the second half of the 2024/25 season. As things stand, they were all due to be written out on Tuesday, but fortunately for them and the Catalans, things appear to have gone well.

As reported by Sport, Barcelona have raised the money needed to sign Olmo and Victor after selling VIP boxes for the new Spotify Camp Nou. A Qatari company has agreed to the purchase for a total sum of around €120 million, which La Liga is already aware of.

Barcelona's board of directors has also approved the deal and the only wait is for Laporta to be signed. However, that will not happen until December 31, because the club is still waiting for a precautionary measure through the court.

It would be fantastic news for Barcelona if Hansi Flick can call on Olmo and Victor, especially the former, for the second half of the season. Barring any setbacks, this should happen within the next 48-72 hours.
