It is no secret that Barcelona has to move players to register their new signing sessions, which will soon comprise Marcus Rashford. Alex Valle, Ansu Fati and Pablo Torre are one of those who have already left, but much more is needed before the Catalans reach their objectives.
Barcelona has to free up space in their salary account, and to do this, countless candidates have been identified for sale. Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Andreas Christensen/Ronald Arajo leave would almost certainly allow Joan Garcia and Rashford to be registered, but none of the three are almost gone at this stage.
The most likely player who leaves is Pau Victor, who will fall further in the pecking order in Barcelona as soon as Rashford becomes an official member. The Catalans want him to leave permanently, and there is a strong chance that this will happen, given the interest shown in his services.
Valencia is one of the clubs that Victor want to sign, and according to SuperDeporte conversations have taken place with Barcelona Sporting Director Deco. Los Che officials want to bring the 23-year-old to the Mestalla and an offer will be ready.
During a recent meeting, Deco made it clear that Barcelona is only considering selling Victor, without plans to accept loan offers. Nevertheless, Valencia wants to present this exactly, with the idea to record an option to buy next summer.
For now there is an impasse between the two clubs, but it is expected that it will be made in August. Valencia believes that Barcelona will mitigate their 'only sale' position as the weeks continue, although there is a risk that another interested party will arrive and meets the requirements of the Catalan giants.
