'Barcelona Need Sales' – that is the line of a large part of the Catalan press, and indeed of La Liga President Javier Tebas if they want to register new signing Joan Garcia and top goal Nico Williams. However, where those sales come from is less clear.
The will of Ansu Fati, Pau Victor and Pablo Torre seem to be on their way, but in terms of departure that the needle could shift for the Blaugrana, there has been little new. The names of Fermin Lopez, Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araujo are still being raised, but all three have made it public that they would like to stay in the club. Director Barcelona of Football Deco has supported the Uruguayan to return to the highest level, but when he was asked about Christensen, she explained that the club 'had too many central defenders'.
Araujo declared publicly at the start of the month that he was sure that he was in the club this season, and the words of Deco seem to bring the business to bed. But Diario, such as, the problem is more gray than those statements would suggest. ARAUJO signed a deal until 2031 in January, but in the first half of July his release clause will fall to somewhere between € 60 million and € 70 million.
Less than 24 hours after it turned out that Juventus could renew their interest in Araujo, it is explained that Arajo is committed to Barcelona, but if he had to change his mind, the club would be open to an exit. Araujo remains at least third choice in the central defense for Hansi Flick, and as a claim that the words of Flick and Deco can participate in the plan.
The trust of Araujo remains in Tact and Barcelona may hope that it will be to retain more value in the transfer market. If the 26-year-old decision he would rather move to a club where he has a starting role, Barcelona would look for a sale.
