Last summer, Luis Diaz was linked to Barcelona several times, but it quickly became apparent that he was out of Barcelona's price range. However, rumors regarding the Colombian's future have resurfaced due to his contract situation.
Diaz will enter the final year of his contract at Liverpool next summer and it appears difficult to make any progress. The Colombian would like a much higher salary, and Liverpool does not want to offer him that yet.
According to Antena 2, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are the two sides said to be most interested in Diaz, while MD adds AC Milan to the group. However, the Catalan giants would be his favorite destination of the three; he would also fit in with Hansi Flick's approach.
Barcelona are reportedly still looking at the left-wing position for next summer after a failed attempt to sign Nico Williams. Diaz was rumored to be sporting director Deco's preferred choice, but as with Williams, Barcelona need to improve their finances before they can consider a move.
