Barcelona remove star from preseason duty as exit nears

Barcelona made a strong call this month about the expected exit of the midfielder Pablo Torre.

La Blaugrana makes their summer transfer plans again after the daring update of Nico Williams' decision to stay in Athletic Club while Hansi Flick is now going back to the drawing table.

Williams was clearly the number 1 target of Flick with fresh faces now on the agenda, because he looks forward to strengthening his attack in the coming weeks.

Premier League duo Luis Diaz and Marcus Rashford are on Flick's Hitlist with the first preference at this stage.

With Liverpool willing to demand in the £ 70 million region to consider an exit, Flick must sell before he can buy new players prior to the 2025/26 campaign.

Torre openly admitted his frustration to play a limited role in Flick's debut campaign, because the midfielder confirmed a chat with the boss about his lack of action.

Flick is pragmatic about the situation because he sees no place for Torre in Barcelona and the club likes to sell the Spain U21 International.

Torre has already agreed the conditions with Mallorca for a deal of four years, and he will become a member of Los Bermellones after Barcelona has also reached a deal with them. According to Sport, that is Barcelona will sell 50% of its rights for € 5 million. Mallorca has a buyout clause for the rest for € 25 million.

That means a small loss for Barcelona, who paid € 6 million to sign him in 2022 to race Santander, but they will add two clauses to the agreement.

Barcelona wants their interests 'future evidence', with a sales clause and an option back in the deal, to keep them in the picture when Torre excels in Palma.

The final details still have to be confirmed on both sides, and according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona Torre has given permission to miss a pre -season backlog to have the agreement packed.
