Barcelona scrambleing for solutions to Dani Olmo registration

Barcelona will put their new sponsorship deal with Nike to a vote by members on December 21 this month, but the promises that come with the deal are still to come. It was claimed that the new deal would allow them to register players without any problems, but Barcelona are still not in a position to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor in January.

The Blaugrana both registered using some of the salary cap space reserved for Ronald Araujo and Andreas Christensen, due to an emergency injury rule that gives clubs room for long-term injuries. However, Barcelona must come up with extra money to create space in their salary cap for Olmo and Victor in January, when their emergency registration expires.

With the Nike deal proving insufficient and no signs of Barcelona finding a buyer for the unpaid share in Barca Vision, they are looking for a solution. Catalunya Radio reports that Barcelona had explored obtaining a new emergency registration fee due to Marc-Andre ter Stegen's injury. They had already done that to free up space for Wojciech Szczesny, and can no longer do so more than a month after the injury.

Olmo is reportedly calm about the situation as he sees no point in worrying about the matter. Meanwhile, there is a little more concern among his entourage, but overall they are operating under the belief that Barcelona must find a way to register their unique star signing.
