In recent days, Barcelona have been working hard to ensure that Dani Olmo and Pau Victor can play domestic football in the second half of the 2024/25 season. Their attempt to secure a precautionary measure failed, so other avenues are being explored, particularly with regard to raising the necessary funds.
According to Relevo, Barcelona have been working on selling VIP boxes at the new Spotify Camp Nou, and president Joan Laporta has submitted the relevant documentation to La Liga.
This has been received by La Liga, and president Javier Tebas's people are currently studying it, while in contact with Laporta and Barcelona.
The likes of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Athletic Club are keeping a close eye on the saga as they are unhappy with the apparent leeway given to Barcelona. The Catalans only have three days to go before the registrations of Olmo and Victor expire.
