Barcelona set Robert Lewandowski return plan for Inter Milan trip

The Treble -Jacht from Barcelona takes them to Inter Milan on 6 May in a huge UEFA Champions League Semi -Laatste second stage against Inter Milan.

With the two teams on 3-3 from the first stage, Barcelona needs a positive result in the San Siro and Hansi Flick is confronted with some important selection calls.

As expected, the former boss of Bayern Munich rested a large number of important stars for the weekend 2-1 victory at Real Valladolid, while the Catalans expanded their La Liga title edge over Real Madrid.

Flick was forced to achieve both Lamine Yamal and Raphinha earlier than expected and he admitted that this was not part of the pre-Inter Milan plan.

Jules Kounde is excluded, after being injured in the first stage, tipped with Eric Garcia to replace him in Milan.

The other most important focus for Flick, however, will be left until they start closer, expected to travel with Robert Lewandowski.

According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, the Poland International is back in the training and the green light to play.

After four games, however, no risk will be taken and the plan is to keep the experienced striker on the couch and only use it if necessary.

Ferran Torres was peace in Valladolid and will lead the attack, with Lewandowski in reserve for the second half against the Serie A Giants.

Despite the positive news about Lewandowski, the update is less cheerful on Alejandro Bald, where the Spain loses international ground in its own fitness race.

Flick will not roll the dice on Balde, because he wants to keep him back on 11 May for the collision with Real Madrid, and Gerard Martin will continue in the back left.

With such a tight schedule, Flick will look at managing minutes exactly in his team, because he wants to stay on track in the interior and in the Champions League.
