FFF uphold decision in Kylian Mbappé-PSG dispute
Kylian Mbappé (25) has registered another one in his long-running dispute with former club Paris Saint-Germain, the AFP understands.
It has not been a clean break since Mbappe left PSG in the summer after seven years at the club. Mbappe is demanding €55 million in unpaid wages and bonuses, which the LFP's legal committee has ordered the reigning Ligue 1 champions to pay. The refusal to pay wages over the course of three months came amid a dispute and messy divorce between the two parties. Les Parisiens believed they had made a verbal gentleman's agreement with the France captain that they would suffer no financial loss if he left on a free transfer, which he did.
However, after being ordered to pay Mbappe's unpaid wages and bonuses, PSG refused. The FFF made the same decision, in favor of the French captain. However, PSG appealed again and asked for the case to be re-examined. The AFP understands that this request has been rejected. The publication shows that Les Parisiens submitted their request for re-examination of the case one day after the appeal deadline. It is another victory for Mbappé, but the problem is not yet solved.
