Barcelona squad have “growing doubts” towards Joan Laporta and board members

Barcelona have been in crisis mode in recent days as they work desperately to ensure Dani Olmo and Pau Victor are signed for the second half of the season. They missed the December 31 deadline, although there is confidence from within that things will be sorted out on Friday.

However, a lot of uncertainty remains, and that has spread to the playing squad. According to Diario AS, Hansi Flick's players are said to be “stunned” by the situation, which they consider “unprecedented and unexpected”.

Furthermore, it is reported that the first-team squad has “growing doubts” about the club's hierarchy, which also includes president Joan Laporta.

There is no doubt that this is a very difficult situation to deal with. Barcelona can still get Olmo and Victor's registrations over the line, but even if they do, the questions for the board won't go away.
