Barcelona star dropped due to disciplinary measure

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick wants to install a Germanic discipline in his side since arrival, and that starts with punctuality. He has made it completely clear that those who do not arrive on time are confronted with punishment.

Under previous manager Xavi Hernandez that was also the case, but under the Catalan the punishment was financially, with players who received fines. One of the most important changes made by Flick is that players are gave birth instead if they are too late for team meetings.

It is a punishment that has happened to Inaki Pena, so that he is dropped for the Spanish Supercup Semi-Final in Saudi Arabia, and hands over to Wojciech Szczesny. He would eventually make the number one place. No player has been guilty of the attack than Jules Kounde, and it was another surprise when Hector Fort was shown in the starting XI on Monday evening against Rayo Vallecano.

Cadena Cope reports that Kounde was planned to start with, and instead the Hector Fort, with the Frenchman was gave for the third time because of his poor time observation. “Kounde is a replacement for a technical decision,” said Flick Movistar+ before the game, as quoted by MD, but it was generally reported that a rare start for fort courtesy was that Kounde was too late.

Previously, Kounde was in competitions against Alaves in Mendizorrotza, and at home at Espanyol, which led to all three Starts of Fort in La Liga this season under Flick. The 18-year-old full-back had a promising start of life in the senior side under Xavi, which played on both the right and left flanks, but has considered his involvement considerably under Flick. The German has almost exclusively chosen Kounde this season, with Fort one of his few alternatives.
