Barcelona star Jules Kounde calls out reporter over Robert Lewandowski comments

Barcelona defender Jules Kounde has become the latest Blaugrana -star who calls the local media directly for false reporting. The Frenchman is said to have made comments on Tuesday about the fitness of Robert Lewandowski during their semi-final of Champions League against Inter.

Kounde traveled as a fan to Milan to support his colleagues against Inter, because they were excluded by the first stage with injury. On Thursday it was reported that Kounde had wondered aloud in the stands about the use of Lewandowski and returned from an injury. “I don't know why Lewandowski plays as he is,” Kounde probably said.

Later that day, however, Kounde went to Social Media Platform Twitter/X to explain that those comments were not true, and noted that it was 'not a journalism'. He immediately called journalist Laia Tudel and Catalunya Radio.

“Standing out of comments and telling Tall Tales is all good and good, but it is not journalism. What is not a journalism is to transfer information without guaranteeing the truth. Now you can share the tweet if you want. Laia Tudel, Catalunya Radio, Sport and others.”

It is a second opportunity in which a Barcelona star is aimed at Catalunya radio within a few months. Goalkeeper and captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen recently announced his divorce from partner and wife Dani Jehle after many years and asked to ask for privacy for his family.

In the following days, a gossip program of celebrities then claimed that Jehle had had an affair with her personal trainer. Ter Stegen then placed a furious denial of this story and noted that the 'damage was caused' even if they moved their information.

Regardless of Kounde's comments, there are doubts about the condition of Lewandowski that starts on Sunday El Clasico. It was surprising for that, because he was suitable against Inter, and marking Torres Torres, Lewandowski was only attracted during the dying minutes. Hansi Flick now has a decision to take between the two against Real Madrid.
