Barcelona star rages over Las Palmas time wasting in La Liga loss
Barcelona captain Raphinha has hit Las Palmas after a shock 2-1 defeat in La Liga.
The Brazil international scored a goal against the Canaries in the second half, but it was not enough to secure an important home win.
Defeat on home soil means Barcelona have lost further ground in the title race as Real Madrid close in.
However, defeat in Catalonia was just one source of frustration for Barcelona, with Raphinha angry at the visitors' antics in the match.
A host of Las Palmas played were criticized by Barcelona stars for wasting time and game management in the second half, despite no cards being shown during the match, and Raphinha claimed this was the deciding factor against the hosts.
“I don't want to talk about it because it could be used against me. But in the second half only 30 minutes were played instead of 45,” said Marca.
Raphinha and Barcelona will look to bounce back from a shock defeat in midweek action when they host Mallorca on December 3, before making an important trip to Andalusia to face Real Betis four days later.
