After their resounding 5-1 win over Mallorca on Tuesday, Barcelona are back in action on Saturday as they travel to Real Betis at the Benito Villamarin. Hansi Flick will have the vast majority of his first team available for the trip, but one player who will not be in contention is Ronald Araujo.
Araujo has been out for the past five months after suffering a serious hamstring tear during the 2024 Copa America. He has been training with his teammates at Barcelona in recent weeks, but according to Diario AS, Flick is not taking any risks regarding his return.
As a result, Araujo will almost certainly be out against Betis. Instead, his comeback match could come midweek next week when Barcelona take on Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. If not, he could be there the following weekend when Leganes go to the Estadi Olimpic.
