Barcelona target gives up hope of move this summer

In the ever-changing world of Barcelona transfers it seemed that this summer would be the year that the Blaugrana would bring a different full-back for a permanent deal. But with Eric Garcia on the right against Inter and Real Madrid leaves in the season, it seems that they have given up that idea.

During a large part of the winter months it was reported that Barcelona was improved on the full-back with a right back of their priority list for this summer. The will of Marc Pubill, Givairo Read, Andrei Ratiu and Vandersonon were all linked to the Blaugrana, as affordable options with room for progression that could compete with Jules Kounde. As it looks now, Barcelona will not make a movement for them.

However, it seems that that idea has shifted to the background, whereby the director of the football deco again looks at potential additions in advance to improve their attacking depth, and manager Hansi Flick apparently in accordance.

On the other hand, it seems that the Barcelona hierarchy has made an executive decision to pursue Espanyol -goalkeeper Joan Garcia, which has a release clause of € 25 million. The Blaugrana, however, were set for more salary limit this summer, and it seems likely that the budget will only be there for one or two additions, which means that the full-back pursuit looks unlikely.

According to MD, one of their goals, Vandersonon, has given up the idea to add to Barcelona this summer. The AS Monaco man was supposed to be the options that liked the most through Deco, who followed his career, and thought that his versatility could also be useful. Nevertheless, with an interest from the Premier League, Vandersonon knows that Barcelona will go in a different direction this summer and alternatives are looking.
