Barcelona to go against Hansi Flick in attempt to secure sale

With just nine days to go until the end of the transfer window, Barcelona is still looking for ways to register all their team. Of course the fastest way for them is to do this by selling players.

That is where Marc Casado enters. Until now, Casado, who entered his second season with the first team, has remained clear that he wants to stay with the Catalan giants. That is despite the fact that Barcelona leaks that he will not only have small playing time, but that there are offers on the table that would see him earn more. Olympique Marseille, West Ham United and Wolves are reportedly all willing to pay his asking price of € 30 million.

Next week Barcelona is planning to 'explain the situation' to Casado, says Sport. He will be told that he will have a small playing time explicitly through the club and behind Marc Bernal, Fenkie de Jong and Gavi is in the pecking order for his midfield place. Their intention is to get his opinion about the issue, despite his unwillingness to leave while things stand.

The Catalan daily also distinguishes itself between his business and that of Fermin Lopez, where manager Hansi came in to ensure that Fermin was not sold. The German manager reportedly understands that he could leave for Casado with a few minutes.

However, this is immediately contradicted by Flick's words in public. On Friday before their collision with Levante, Flick explained that he was in favor of keeping Casado.

“Of course I spoke with him, but I don't think he wants to leave the club, and I want him here too, because it will be a difficult season. We need every player,” he noticed during his press conference.

If Barcelona Casado has to try to push to the starting door, it seems that they will do this against the wishes of Flick.
