Barcelona saw their affiliated team Barca Atletic relegated to the fourth level of Spanish football for the second time since 1974 in May, and it could have good consequences. Although they may not be directly related, several of their top talents from the under-19 side go this summer.
Arnau Pradas is above that list. The 19-year-old winger is considered one of the most talented of his age group and played a crucial role in Barcelona that lifted UEFA Youth League. However, Sport reports that Pradas has decided to leave the club at the end of the season for a free, not extending its deal. Although no decision was made at his destination, he was interested in Saudi Aarabia, where Unai Hernandez left in January.
Forward Diego Percan has already left Barca Atletic, and his potential successor Hugo Alba is also on his way to the club. The 19-year-old Center-Forward will become a member of OFK Belgrade, also on a free transfer. In the meantime, Barcelona confirmed on Friday that Barca Atletic captain Aleix Garrido is also free to become a member of Eibar, where he has signed a three-year deal.
Garrido made a handful of performances under Xavi Hernandez, but has been laid low in recent years due to injuries.
