Barcelona to sanction transfer exit if Dani Olmo and Pau Victor are registered

Barcelona are currently embroiled in their registration crisis with Dani Olmo and Pau Victor, but will consider selling Eric Garcia if all goes smoothly. The Catalan defender returned to the club three years ago but has struggled to get a starting spot.

Last season was his first in La Liga as a guaranteed starter after leaving on loan to Girona. At the request of Hansi Flick, Garcia returned to Barcelona this summer but again struggled for minutes, with most of his chances coming in midfield as an alternative to Marc Casado.

Girona tried to bring him back on a permanent contract last summer, but Flick dug in his heels. However, it is now reported that Barcelona will approve a deal for Garcia to return to Girona if Olmo and Victor are registered without any problems. SER Catalunya's Nil Sola reports that the deal will be around €10 million between a fixed fee and a variable fee for the 23-year-old, with 18 months left on his contract at Barcelona.

That said, Barcelona manager Flick has contradicted these reports, saying he was not aware of a desire by Garcia to leave the club on Friday afternoon. However, Garcia has a good relationship with Girona manager Michel Sánchez, who has gotten the best out of him since returning to Spain from Manchester City.
