Barcelona to spend €6m on project for first team squad

Barcelona currently has limited resources due to its well-documented financial problems, although construction of the new Spotify Camp Nou continues amid all this. The club hopes that the first team will be back in the stadium in March and further preparations are being made for this.

According to Sport, Barcelona have decided that they will build a residential building on the Sant Joan Despi training ground, which will be used for the first team. The idea behind this is to ensure that Hansi Flick and his players feel as comfortable as possible. which would certainly also benefit performance on the field.

The project has an initial cost of €6 million, and Barcelona will be hoping it doesn't end up being more expensive as they desperately need to save as much money as possible amid their ongoing struggles. It remains to be seen when construction will begin.
