PSG has Michael Jordan, now Barcelona has Kobe Bryant. The Blaugrana club has unveiled its second shirt for the 2025/26 season, with the 'Kobe Sheath' instead of the Nike 'Swoosh'.
Barcelona's merchandising is growing rapidly this summer. In addition to the range linked to the cat mascot and the new 10 shirt from Lamine Yamal, the club reveals a new outdoor kit.
“FC Barcelona and Nike have drawn a daring and emblematic partnership,” says the official press release that was published on Tuesday.
“The second shirt of the 2025/26 season will replace the 'Swoosh' to record the 'Kobe Sheath', the emblematic sword sheath from the Kobe Bryant brand.
“This collaboration between the brand of the NBA legend and FC Barcelona was born from the shared culture of sporting excellence of Bryant and is rooted in the DNA of FC Barcelona.
“This new step strengthens the Union between Nike and FC Barcelona, with the aim of expanding the influence of the Mamba mentality and inspiring new generations of athletes both on and outside the field.”
The 'Kobe Sheath' is visible for three seasons, until 2028.
