Barcelona has announced that their LABERA match against Osasuna was canceled just before the kick-off after the death of the first team doctor of the club.
The competition, which was planned to start at 9 p.m. local time, was officially announced to have been postponed 20 minutes before the kick -off.
“FC Barcelona is deeply sad to announce the death of Dr. Carles Minarro Garcia of the first team tonight,” said a club statement.

Minarro Garcia has been part of the Barcelona medical team since 2017.
While teams were announced for the game, no Barcelona players came out to warm up.
The Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Minarro Garcia died in the team hotel, informed with players after arriving in the stadium before the game.
An announcement was made on the large screens in the Olympic Stadium to inform supporters.
The coaching staff of Osasuna saw the news responding through the dugouts in the stadium.

Before he came to Barcelona, Miñarro Garcia had worked as an assistant doctor at the Sports Assistance and Prevention Unit in the High Performance Center of Sant Cugat del Vallès.
He had previously worked in medical services for the Sabadell FC from Catalonia.
Barcelona wanted to expand their lead at the top of Laliga against Osasuna, with the side of Hansi Flick currently one point free from Atletico Madrid.
Real Madrid are three points in the back in third place.
