Barcelona’s Nou Camp project ‘is DELAYED again’ and they may wait until 2026

Barcelona may have to wait until 2026 to return to the Nou -Camp in the midst of a new delay to the renovation project of £ 1.25 billion.

The Laliga Giants, who initially hoped to unveil the recently renovated stadium as part of the club's 125th anniversary in November, had already reduced their return to this month.

The club moved from the Nou-Camp for the first time in May 2023, so that they could start the big renovation of their 67-year-old stadium. But there are now fears that they will continue to play in the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Company in Montjuic until January next year.

According to Relo, the move is back to their iconic stadium of 105,000 capacity at the earliest planned for October 2025. Their report also claims that the istallation of the roof has also been postponed until the summer of 2026.

The delay will offer the wallet of the Catalan giants a further hit, which have been in Dire Financial Straits for a number of years. The expensive renovation of the Nou -Kamp will be able to rake the club in millions.

The income in the Olympic Stadium of 54,367 Capacity is considerably lower than what they will enjoy when the renovations are completed.

The well -camp was filled in on the bare bones with only a concrete skeleton over, where the entire top layer was removed to rebuild the third and to increase the capacity by 6,000 seats.

When completed, the Spotify well -camp will be the largest sports location in Europe.

Hansi Flick's handled well during their maintained exile and currently top of the LaLiga classification and the Champions League group phase have been dropped off.

The five-fold winners will be opposed to Benfica in the first-16 first stage on Wednesday evening prior to the return match next week.
