After a match in which two goals were scored in the opening two minutes for the first time in Bundesliga history, Vincent Kompany's side have a seven-point lead at the top of the table for the rest of the weekend's matches.

After losing their first league match of the season to Mainz last week, it took Bayern just 28 seconds to get back on track through Jamal Musiala after Leroy Sane made a defensive error.

However, Benjamin Sesko equalized just over a minute later by curling in Lois Openda's cross, although it was all Bayern after that.

Konrad Laimar, formerly of Leipzig, struck home a second later and Joshua Kimmich smashed in a stunning effort from 25 yards just 11 minutes later to give the hosts a fully deserved half-time lead.

Bayern settled the tie with quickfire goals in the 75th and 78th minutes as Sane coolly fired home in the fourth before Alphonso Davies, who had set up the German's attack, headed in from Kimmich's perfect cross.
