“I feel enormous gratitude and joy that I made this career at my beloved club. The special connection with the club and our fantastic fans will always stay.
“What I want to say goodbye must be clear: titles that we can celebrate together, and moments we will remember for a long time for a long time. We will give everything to bring the competition title to Munich in the coming weeks. Let's do it together!”

Since he made his senior debut in 2008, Muller has registered 322 direct target involvement in 497 Bundesliga performances (150 goals, 172 assists), with only Robert Lewandowski (367) more included in the German top flight.
The attacker is the fourth highest score in the history of Bundesliga, with his 150 goals only improved by Gerd Muller (365), Lewandowski (238) and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (162).
The only player who offers more than 100 Bundesliga helps at the time, he also created a competition -high 952 opportunities.
“The most important thing is that we have found a mutual solution,” said Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen. “Thomas Muller is one of the greatest players that this club produced, and that was why it was important for us to find an honest and friendly agreement.
“Now we want to work together to ensure that this incredible career is crowned, hopefully, three more trophies. There are few players who still praise fans about tens of years after their career. Thomas Muller will be one of them.”
“Thomas Muller is the definition of a Bavarian fairytale career; he grew in Bavaria and with Bayern,” added President Herbert Hainer.
“Nobody has won Bundesliga titles anymore and so far 33 trophies so far speaks volumes. He is one of the most excellent personalities in the history of FC Bayern.”
