Bayern Munich chief opens up on Harry Kane’s rare goal drought

The sports director of Bayern Munich is open on Harry Kane's current rare goal of drought.

The captain of England is experiencing an unusual difficult saying that has no longer scored from open play since 22 November.

In that period he yielded two penalties in the midst of a winter break and a muscle injury that sidelined him for four games.

The lack of form of Kane could be seen during the 3-0 loss of Bayern Munich against Feyenoord in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The striker wasted three chances to get to the score sheet while the Bundesliga giants in the Netherlands suffered a shocking heavy defeat.

Bayern Chief Max Eberl says that Kane's bad form is not worried about him – but admits that they need his goals.

He said, “Harry [Kane] Is the least of my worries.

'If you have a young player, you might be more worried, but Harry Kane has so many highlights and also a few lows. So if someone can deal with it and deal with it, it is Harry Kane.

“He didn't score from open game for a long time, but he was also injured.

'Of course we need his goals. He knows that and is probably the one who is the most critical about himself.

“But I don't think it causes a mental problem for Harry.”

Despite his recent struggles, the goal of Harry Kane has been impressive in August 2023 since he was £ 100 million in August 2023.

The 31-year-old has scored 44 goals in 45 games in his debut season and has yielded 22 in 24 performances so far.

He will try to return to form when Vincent's Bayern visits on Saturday Freiburg, with the side four points free of champions Bayer Leverkusen at the top of the Bundesliga table.
