Bournemouth and recently covered Spain defender Dean Huijsen will be one of the heads of the summer, apart from a big surprise, with the 19-year-old followed by a selection of Europe's largest clubs. A good debut season in the Premier League is perhaps his only one, at least for some time.
Huijsen left Juventus for only € 15 million last summer, but excelled under Andoni Iraola in Bournemouth. In March he also looked at Spain at home against the Netherlands in the Nations League and registered a brilliant assist for Lamine Yamal. This summer he has a release clause of € 60 million and it seems likely that it will be activated.
In Spain, all the headlines have been that Real Madrid has set their sights on Huijsen, who is said to be a fan of Real Madrid. Recent reports in England, however, say that Chelsea and Liverpool are further on the line in the process of signing Huijsen, although Los Blancos believe that they can attract Huijsen's heart strings.
In Germany, Bayern Munich also consider a movement for the Spain International. Christian Falk has told the daily briefing that Bayern is negotiating a new deal for Dayot Upamecano and in conversations about a potential release clause of € 120 million. However, the Bavarian side also monitors other options, one of which is Huijsen.
It is worth noting that Huijsen has pronounced his pride because he is associated with Real Madrid, who has reached his camp in recent weeks. His father also visited the Valdebebas training field. Born in the Netherlands and moving to Malaga at a young age, both Barcelona and Real Madrid tried to recruit him from Los Boquerones, but in the end he chose a move to Juventus, in his own words, to learn from the school of Italian defense.
