Bryan Zaragoza's return to La Liga has been impressive. After his spell at Granada earned him a move to Bayern Munich, he was loaned out to Osasuna this summer and has been a standout performer at Pamplona. However, earlier this week it was confirmed that he had suffered a serious setback.
On Tuesday it was confirmed that Zaragoza had broken a metatarsal bone in his foot. According to MD, it has now been reported that the troublesome winger will now have to undergo surgery to correct the problem, and this will mean he will be out of action for at least two to three months.
There is no doubt that losing Zaragoza during that period is a major blow for Osasuna, who have had a good start to the 2024/25 season. They now need to find a way to effectively replace him in the near future, although that will be much easier said than done.
