Real Madrid's sports department always keeps an eye on the brightest talents in football – both in Europe and around the world. Last month it was reported that they had set their sights on Bayern Munich youngster Lennart Karl, who has been making waves for the Bundesliga giants in recent months.
Karl, who is only 16 years old, usually plays as an attacking midfielder, although he is also deployed on the right wing. Bayern are determined to stave off interest in the teenager's services and in return they have called him up for first-team training on Tuesday morning, reports Florian Plettenburg (via Sport).
Bayern have high expectations for Karl, and considering he is already in and around the first team at the age of 16, it appears he is incredibly highly rated. Real Madrid also like him, although it could be difficult to lure him away from Bavaria.
