Bayern Munich ‘not taking Real Madrid interest seriously’ in star pursuit

The future of Florian Wirtz seemed to have been decided a few weeks earlier when it happened that Bayern Munich had evaluated a rough deal with his father Hans-Joachim Wirtz. However, the race for his signature has been thrown open again.

The Superstar of Bayer Leverkusen has been strongly linked to Los Blancos in recent years, one of the many parties that keep an eye on his progression towards one of the best game makers in Europe. Those on the left were the strongest with Real Madrid and Manchester City this season, except Bayern, and with the arrival of Xabi Alonso in the Santiago Bernabeu, Wirtz seemed to be an excellent candidate for a Real Madrid interruption.

Real Madrid is looking for a midfielder this summer, leaving with Luka Modric, but it seems that they are more looking for Toni Kroos than the Croatian this season, a year late. Nevertheless, Wirtz has previously been seen as a potential modrical replacement at Valdebebas. Nevertheless, Christian Falk Bayern Insider has told that the Bavarian Giants do not believe that Real Madrid pays a realistic threat, and they do not think that City can compete with them.

They are more concerned about Liverpool's approach for the German international. The Reds have held a meeting with the Wirtz camp in England and reportedly impressed Wirtz. Bayern is not willing to pay the asking price of € 150 million from Leverkusen, and that work self would rather sell to Liverpool than Bayern. Although Falk believes that Bayern is still leading the race – manager Vincent Kompany has already explained his role in the team to Wirtz – Liverpool could make a serious challenge.

It seems that Los Blancos will look somewhere else and have already received a 'hands off' from Chelsea with regard to Enzo Fernandez. A number of midfielders are linked to Real Madrid, including Rodri Hernandez, Angel Stiller and Tijjani Reijnders.
