Joshua Kimmich has insisted that the ball in the court of Bayern Munich is about conversations for a new contract, in which the German makes a decision about his future before the international break.
Kimmich has become one of the best midfielders in Germany since he came to Bayern in 2015. He has won eight Bundesliga titles and the 2020 Champions League, and plays an important role in the current Vincent Kompany team.
But his contract in the Allianz Arena expires at the end of the season and talks about a new deal got stuck. It is thought that Bayern has withdrawn their last offer after Kimmich had missed a deadline to sign.
