Bayern Munich boss Vincent Kompany had a clear message for his players after their shock 2-1 defeat away to Mainz, their first Bundesliga defeat of the season.
Lee Jae-Sung struck twice either side of half-time and despite Leroy Sane reducing the deficit late on, Bo Henriksen's side were able to hold on for a huge win.
Mainz has now won four of its last five Bundesliga home games against Bayern. No other side has won against them since the start of the 2020-2021 season.
It is also Kompany's first league defeat since taking charge at the Allianz Stadium, having only lost in the Champions League and DFB-Pokal in his debut season.
And Bayern struggled at the Mewa Arena, despite being the only team to score in all 14 of their Bundesliga games so far this season.
Kompany's side achieved an expected goals total (xG) of 1.48 from their 13 attempts, although they only had one on target, which came from Sane's late strike.

Frustrated to see his streak end, Kompany insisted there was no time to dwell on the result before hosting RB Leipzig in their final match of 2024.
“We played against a team with a lot of life and spirit, they were ready to fight for every moment,” Kompany said after the match.
There was no lack of struggle on our part. We did that to the best of our ability. Today we just weren't at our best.
“We can't play this game anymore, it's done. We'll use it to make a fire next week. That's the only way to give an answer.
“We can't win this match in Mainz this year, but we are looking forward to it in the future.”
The match against Leipzig will be followed by a three-week break in the competition as the Bundesliga hits are suspended until mid-January.
Bayern are still top of the Bundesliga but saw their lead cut to four points on Saturday after champions Bayer Leverkusen defeated Augsburg 2-0.
