Bayern ‘WITHDRAW contract offer to Kimmich with four months left on his deal’

Bayern Munich reportedly withdrew their contractual offer to Joshua Kimmich after extensive negotiations since the start of the season.

The 30-year-old midfielder is an undisputed starter for Vincent Kompany, but is confronted with a potential exit from Allianz Arena in the status of a free agent in the coming summer.

Earlier it was thought that the agreement was only a matter of time after reports emerged that Kimmich made his decision to stay in Bayern.

It was understood that the silver holders of Bundesliga were set to improve their proposal and waited for the midfielder's response.

Bayern has worked tirelessly to convince various important squadron players to stay in the club after closing the deals with Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies earlier.

According to Bild, however, the German star was informed that his contractual offer was withdrawn after the player's hesitation.

It was previously revealed that the current Premier League leaders, Liverpool, were interested in strengthening their midfield line with the addition of Kimmich.

It was thought that the 30-year-old player would fit perfectly into the Arne Slot system, which would rather use one of the midfielders in a deep role.

Kimmich has recommended himself as an elite no. 6, and also a versatile player who can appear in the right back.

Despite a total of 426 games for Bayern, the club decided that they would no longer increase their offer.

Unbeatable, if the German International do not re-open the negotiations with the Bundesliga side, he will be in the highest interest in numerous top clubs in Europe.

Last summer, Kimmich also has Arsenal and Manchester City on the Shortlist, next to Laliga Giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.

In the meantime, it is unlikely that the player will appear on the field against VFB Stuttgart on Friday due to a hamstring injury.
