Beckham wades into Neville’s Forest stadium ban row and takes cheeky dig

David Beckham has taken the row around Gary Neville's Schok Nottingham Forest Stadium prohibition and a brutal excavation at the club.

As yesterday exclusively revealed by Mail Sport, Forest Sky Sports said that their main employee Neville from the city was banned for their last Premier League match of the season against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

The Champions League -strikers have also asked to change the broadcaster his commentary team, while Sky said that the action of Forest was 'undesirable'.

The drastic movement of Forest came after Neville had made serious critical points on social media, so that a belief within the club was fueled that he has resentment against them.

Sky has decided to revise their production plans and will now present the reporting from their head office in West -London. It is understood that Neville itself finally chose not to be part of the show, with the full support of the broadcaster.

Neville, 50, broke his silence by expressing his 'disappointment' with the ban of Forest and his good friend Beckham could not resist having his say.

Beckham responded to Neville's Instagram post about the situation and wrote: 'Must of [sic] Something to do with that 7-1 game in the past. '

His remark will probably have referred to the brutal victory of United on the forest on the city during their triple campaign in February 1999.

Beckham, however, seemed to have been the recess – with United actually won 8-1.

Jamie Carragher also weighed and placed a series of smiling emojis in response.

Neville had criticized forest owner Evangelos Marinakis after the Greek businessman walked into the field to talk to Nuno Espirito Santo after the draw with Leicester.

The expert said that the behavior of Marinakis was 'outrageous' and urged Nuno to perform with immediate effect despite the fact that the club was led back to Europe.

Later it became clear that Marinakis had expressed concern about the treatment by the medical staff of the Taiwo Awoniyi injury and that he had not told Boss Nuno.

Neville wrote in a statement of social media: 'I was informed by Sky Sports yesterday that Nottingham Forest would not give me accreditation or access to the stadium as a co-commentator. I have no choice but to withdraw from the coverage.

'In the past 14 years I have distributed my considerable part of criticism and praise from doing this job and I never came close to this unprecedented action.

'Personally, I find it disappointing that a great club like Nottingham Forest has been reduced to making such a decision.

'Although they have the right to choose who they let in their own stadium, it is symptomatic of things that have happened to the club in the last 12 months.

“I wish the coaching staff, players and fans of the club the very best in their search to reach Champions League football.”
