Belal Muhammad sends a message to Kamaru Usman after the first victory in four years
Belal Muhammad and Usman shared just over a year of beef, after the two former champions started to trade in -hooks. Their garbage collector was turned into an alleged podcast argument on USM's Pound 4 pound podcast.
Muhammad lost the UFC Welterweight title last month to Jack della Maddalena on UFC 315. Maddalena will probably be confronted against Islam Makhakev later this year, so that Mohammed has to win at least one fight to make a strong case for a different title shot.
In anticipation of UFC Atlanta, Usman rejected a potential confrontation with Muhammad, despite the fact that he had thought the former champion. But after his performance, Mohammed went to social media to throw a veiled callout in the direction of Ushman.
In a recent message on social media, Muhammad responded to the headlining -victory of Usman at UFC Atlanta.
“Congratulations,” Muhammad posted on X.
Muhammad originally teased a potential booking against Shavkat Rakhmonov in the days after UFC 315. He and Rakhmonov had UFC 310 in December headlines before Muhammad was forced to withdraw due to a medical issue.
Kamaru Usman's Pad Back to the Welterweight title could go through Belal Muhammad
Usman was a negative Muhammad during his UFC Atlanta Post-Vecht media availability, which would rather be the following to the winner of Maddalena vs. Makhachev Welterweight Title to meet. Sean Brady is another name in the mix in the Welterweight title photo, which hinted user that he would rather be confronted with his comeback fight.
Despite the attitude of Usman, he may have to win at least another fight against a top well -being weight candidate before he deserves another title shot. The top of the division is full of young, new challenges such as Ian Machado Garry, Brady and recent Victor Michael Morales.
Usman returned the clock and turned on one of the characteristic versions of his legendary career, and will probably be included in the UFC Hall of Fame as soon as he decides to hang the gloves. But in the meantime, the 'Nigerian nightmare' is ready to make at least one last push in the direction of recovering the good weight throne.
