UFC Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad knew something to say to get under the skin of Kamaru Usman.
Belal Muhammad will defend the UFC -Welterweight title for the first time this Saturday at UFC 315 against Jack della Maddalena. But while Muhammad is laser -oriented on his upcoming fight, the champion continues to stir his constant beef with former title holder Kamaru Usman.
Since Usman's back-to-back title fighting losses for Leon Edwards, a lot has changed at the top of the UFC Welterweight Division, including the title line of Muhammad. Muhammad won De Riem by beating Edwards by a unanimous decision on UFC 304 last July.
Muhammad and Usman are two of the largest welter weights in the UFC history. But despite their shared performance, they have been on each other's nerves for months since the last welterweight outing of Ushman.

Belal Muhammad shares his side of the alleged Kamaru Usman -Podcast -Loot
Tensions between Muhammad and Usman exploded in an alleged fight during a film from one of the podcast episodes of the former title holder. According to all parties involved, including co-gastsheer Henry Cejudo, the appearance of Muhammad on the show was demolished after 10 minutes when he and Usman almost came in a full fist.
From this letter images of the alleged podcast ditch have not been released. In the meantime, Muhammad has shared his version of events.
During a recent performance on the entire podcast, Muhammad explained what happened between Usman and him when he went in an episode of the Podcast of Pound 4 Pound.
“We were on his podcast and Henry Cejudo asked what it feels like to be champions, you're at the top now. And I said good, it feels good now, because everyone wants to listen to you, everyone thinks you're the champion,” said Mohammed about what was going with Usman. “And Usman went” I was the champion too. ” And I said 'yes, but you are no longer the champion'. The Podcast episode may be released prior to the coming fight by Muhammad on UFC 315 and the return from Usman to the Octagon next month in UFC Atlanta. Usman will return to the Welterweight Division when he takes on the striping Joaquin Buckley.
Usman raised eyebrows when he recently admitted that he and Mohammed would need security to separate them if they crossed paths soon. Usman is not expected to attend UFC 315 because he is in the middle of his Vechtkamp for UFC Atlanta, but if Usman beat Buckley, he might be the next one for a title shot.

Things between Usman and Muhammad reached a boiling point when Usman Muhammad mocked because he refused to face UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev in a potentially superfight. Makhachev may come to Welterweight for its next UFC booking, because a possible matchup with Ilia Topuria remains uncertain in lightweight.
If Maddalena beat Muhammad this weekend, the Welterweight Movement of Makhachev would become more likely. Makhachev and Muhammad both rejected a potential confrontation after the training under the supervision of Khabib Nurmagomedov and become good friends.
